That Christmas feeling.

Even though Christmas is over a month away, today I managed to get in the festive feeling thanks to my housemates.

Our amazing Christmas tree!
My housemate Lou is really excited about Christmas, so excited in fact that right now she is watching The Grinch downstairs with our adopted housemate, Mel. She had been telling us this week that she was going to buy decorations and put them up as soon as she brought them...little did I know, she was being serious!

So, here I am, walking in through my front door after a shift at work when I open the living room door...and what greets me is what can only be described as a 'winter wonderland.' There's a sparkly tree in the corner, stockings hanging up on the wall, white powder spray obscuring the window, Christmas tunes blasting out of the laptop and pretty much every single object covered in tinsel. And it's all thanks to Sam, Mel and Lou, who are all covering parts of the room with their decorations.

Even though most people would probably question why we've decided to put decorations up this early at this point, I seriously didn't care. There were still more items to put up, so I tried my best to help, but I was a little bit useless. Either way, when it was all done and dusted, the living room looked amazingly festive. And the excuse for the early decorations? The Coca-Cola advert was on TV this weekend, so Christmas was now officially here.

I love Christmas, and can honestly say it's my favourite time of the year. I think no one can ever outgrow Christmas, no matter what they say. The presents, the dinner, the coming together of family, there's seriously nothing better. But these decorations have made me want Christmas to come sooner- shame that I have assignment deadlines to meet before it all though!
