Having a computer whiz as a housemate.

Tonight I've been rushing around, trying to get things sorted. I've made something photo based for my sister's 21st birthday party (I'm sure I mentioned this in an earlier blog post? Oh yes...yes I did) which is tomorrow night, but it's been one hell of a task to get it all finished. And for that, I *sarcastically* thank my printer.

Because earlier, when I wanted to print out an application form to apply for a TV licence refund, it worked. Earlier when I had to print out an ink allignment page after installing a new ink cartridge, it worked. But when I desperately need the bloody thing, it just sits there in its glory and refuses to work. And it is then when I want to either throw it out a window or smash it up with a sledge hammer.

Luckily, however, our house has a handy man. Whenever's something gets broke, Mr. Sam Eddy (pictured) is usually there to fix it. Whether that be a downed internet connection, a broken bed or something simple like an oven lighter, Sam always has a solution which makes it work. And today, he was around when my printer decided to give up on me.

I won't bore you with what he went through to get it working, but at the end of it, my documents printed and I was saved from strolling down to the library in the fog to get my work printed. And for that, my sisters present is complete, and I can therefore stop stressing over it. Phew! Roll on tomorrow night.
