Baby showering.

Just to clarify before you read on, this post does not talk about me smiling whilst being showered in babies. So get that sick thought out of your head!

A few months ago, I learned that my good friend Bex (who also tells me that she reads this blog- hi Bex!) was pregnant. By finding this out via text whilst I was queuing up for Nemesis at Alton Towers, I remember being really excited for her, even though it came as a massive surprise at the time. But it's been a few months since I was told, and the baby is only months away from arriving in the world, so Bex decided to throw a baby shower.

This baby shower was the main reason I went home this weekend. I've known Bex since the beginning of high school and even though I'm at uni and she's in Tamworth, we've kept in touch and she's kept me updated on how the pregnancy is going.

Before tonight though, I'd never been to a baby shower before. I didn't really know what to expect, but when it came to it, it ended up being a really good night. There were a few people there from school who I managed to catch up with, loads of food to be consumed and we even played some baby shower related games, such as 'guess the baby food' where we had to try cold baby food and guess the flavour that it was- yum.

Overall, I had a great night and enjoyed seeing everyone again. The mood of my night rapidly changed though once I got home, as I found out that I can't find my house/room keys for the Stoke house anywhere. Fun times ahead for me...
