Memories from the night before.

Yesterday's blog post was a little bit rushed, and for that I have a good excuse- I was only minutes away from getting zombied up and getting the Halloween party in full swing.

Sam + I, acting like true zombies. Take note of our decorated gate ;)
Now that the party is over (and trust me, the empty bottles and smell of booze which is plaguing downstairs proves that), it's good to look back and think what a brilliant night it was. It was really good to celebrate Halloween with some cool people, and get to know some others also.

Although the drink has blurred away most of my memories from last night, today I've had flashbacks and they've really made me smile. I think the best memory I had from last night was when a random man from the street approached us when we were standing outside and asked if Steve, Mohammed and five girls were in the house.

Other highlights include drunken jenga, spin the bottle, jamming to an awesome Halloween playlist and getting the whole living room to do the Time Warp. And who said second year students can't have fun?

However, although I admit the amount of drink consumed wasn't clever, I actually surprised myself this morning- I managed to get up and ready for my 9am lecture after four hours sleep. Maybe this wasn't the best idea, because half way through the lecture I felt like I'd been ran over by a truck and the fake blood used for my zombie costume is failing to scrub off completely. But I am here to learn after all!
